I’ll Draw Anything

UPDATE: Keep commenting. Rather than responding one at a time, I’ll compile the drawings into a post next Thursday. Also, thank you for all the very kind, very thoughtful comments.

Hello everyone. First off, let me tell you that you’re beauty is outweighed only by your sparkling intellect and management skills.

Let me tell you, life is really wearing me down. I’m dealing with some medical shit, which leads to emotional shit and also monetary shit (money is the emotion of America).

I’m going to take a break from blogging until May, just so I can finish up school and try to get my life back on track. I’ve been humbled by all the amazing feedback and encouragement I’ve received here. After years of believing comment sections to be evil places of dangerous vitriol, I’ve been amazed by the intelligence, insight, and general good will of those who comment here. This blog has received almost 500 comments, and I haven’t had to block a single one. That’s kind of amazing.

To prove I’m not vanishing (and to prove I love you), anyone who comments here will get an original, ms paint, digital art picture. Ask me to draw anything, and I swear to Vishnu-Jesus I’ll do it.

  1. i so know what you mean by medical shit leading to financial shit. been there and it’s ugly

draw for me how you feel most days

  2. I am sorry to hear things are not going so well for you right now, I sincerely hope they get better very soon. I look forward to your new posts in May! All the very best, until then. Oh – I would like you to draw a cat that is disappointed with the way its life has turned out. Thanks!

  3. I’ll keep my fingers crossed for you, although I’m not sure what that will achieve. Arthritis for me? Oh well, it’s the thought that counts, right? Right? Hm. Okay. How about a request then? Since you twisted my arm, I’ll make one you insistent so-and-so! How about a pic of a vampire going through menopause in a gravy boat?

  4. My heart goes out to you, dear soul. I am sad that you are suffering stress, illness and hardship. My sweet soft eyes have much compassion and understanding and I bring my hugs and goodwill. May Providence bring you warmth and smoother roads ahead. Remember that bad luck doesnt last forever. (I have to keep telling myself this as my life sucks at the present, too).

I do have an art request from you ..if time and energy allows you to create it. A turtle holding out a heart..to present as a gift…would be lovely to see…from your most talented hand.

Enjoy the break and we look forward to your return.

    Best wishes,

    Steph

  5. could you please draw me a picture of the most ugly human being you’ve ever seen in a cat sweater, petting a kitten that’s wearing a human sweater? Thanks! I’m going to miss reading your posts while you sort your real life stuff out. Good luck!

  6. sorry to hear of your tribulations, my friend. I’d love to see Rick from the show Rick and Morty playing a game of chess with Breaking Bad’s Walter White!

  7. This might be an odd request, but can give me a pictorial representation of your impression of Australian politics (without researching first). It’s okay if you don’t really know anything about the subject – my motivation isn’t to expose American ignorance, but to see how the much the foolish things that have been happening over here have permeated the minds of those overseas (if at all). Also, it might be good for a laugh. Thanks!

  8. Okay… I have something for you to contribute towards a post on my site. (There’s not a rush on it; I won’t be posting it until December. I just kind of realized that I wasn’t getting stuff done in advance. However, I hope to get the post queued up much sooner.)

    Anyway…

Can you design the two most horrible Christmas ornaments you can imagine? (Think of a “Christmas Ornaments Insult My Intelligence” post. It can be one JPEG or two, but remember that the images need a vertical orientation because my blog is so narrow.

The images can be emailed to bumblepuppyblog[at]yahoo.com. I hope this is along the lines of what you expected when you signed up.

  9. Well I really enjoyed reading it. This information procured by you is very practical for correct planning. kccdgeeedfdd
